Ecclesiastes 3:1
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
The passage acknowledges there are opposite seasons — for planting and for harvesting, for weeping and for laughing — and forcing the wrong timing almost always brings frustration.
Let's not overcomplicate this: not every season of your life is meant for the same thing. Recognizing which one you're in saves you the frustration of demanding from it what belongs to another.
Am I trying to force a season of my life to be something it isn't meant to be yet?
Identify what season of life you're in today (sowing, waiting, harvesting) and act according to that season, not another.
Lord, help me recognize the season I'm in, without forcing what doesn't belong to this season yet.
