1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
Paul doesn't promise the absence of temptation โ he promises a limit and a way out. God's faithfulness isn't shown by sparing you the trial, but by sustaining you within it with a real escape route.
Let's not overcomplicate this: temptation doesn't catch God off guard. He already placed the way out there, even before the temptation arrived.
Am I looking for the way out God already provides, or staying focused only on the temptation itself?
Identify a recurring temptation and, instead of just resisting it mentally, actively look for the concrete way out God already placed within reach.
Lord, thank You for not letting me be tempted beyond what I can bear. Help me see and take the way out You already provided.
