Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God doesn't apologize for being incomprehensible at times. He plainly states the difference: His ways operate on a level beyond our full capacity to understand.
Let's not overcomplicate this: not fully understanding what God is doing isn't a reason to stop trusting. It's actually evidence that His ways are higher than yours.
Can I trust God in something I don't fully understand today?
Name a situation you don't understand and hand it over in prayer, acknowledging that God's ways are higher than yours.
Lord, I don't understand everything You're doing, but I trust that Your thoughts are higher than mine.
