Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
God doesn't ask the people to stop feeling afraid by sheer willpower. He gives a concrete reason not to fear: His own presence and His promise of active support.
Let's not overcomplicate this: fear isn't overcome by mental effort alone. It's faced by remembering who is standing beside you.
What specific fear do I need to hand over to God today, remembering He is with me?
Name your most present fear today and repeat this promise specifically over that situation.
Lord, thank You that I don't face this alone. Uphold me with Your righteous right hand and remove discouragement from me.
