Matthew 5:5
“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
Biblical meekness isn't passivity or lack of character. Moses, described as the meekest man on earth, also confronted Pharaoh — meekness is strength surrendered to God, not the absence of strength.
Let's not overcomplicate this: being meek doesn't mean letting yourself be walked over. It means having the kind of control that only comes from trusting God more than your own reaction.
Do I confuse meekness with weakness, or understand it as strength under control?
In a situation where you'd normally react with force or defensiveness today, choose to respond with meekness instead.
Lord, give me a meek spirit — not weak, but one that trusts You enough not to need to force its way.
