Galatians 6:9

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Paul acknowledges weariness as real โ€” he doesn't say 'don't get tired,' as if that were an impossible order; he says 'let us not faint,' recognizing the real struggle of continuing before the fruit is visible.

Let's not overcomplicate this: giving up right before the harvest is the most painful part of quitting. Sometimes all that's missing is a little more time.

Reflection Question

Where am I tempted to give up right before seeing the fruit of what I've been sowing?

Today's Action

Keep doing today, even without seeing results yet, that good action you've been sustaining.

Prayer

Lord, give me strength not to grow weary in doing good. Help me trust the harvest comes, even if not on my timeline.
