1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.”
Paul elevates caring for the body to a spiritual matter, not merely an aesthetic or health one. If God's Spirit dwells there, how we treat it matters to God too.
Let's not overcomplicate this: caring for your body isn't vanity when you do it as an act of honoring the One who lives in it.
How am I caring for — or neglecting — the body God entrusted to me?
Make one concrete choice for physical self-care today — rest, food, movement — as an act of honoring God, not just looking good.
Lord, thank You for reminding me my body isn't only mine. Help me care for it as the temple You say it is.
