Proverbs 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
The proverb doesn't promise instant results. It speaks of a long-term sowing, whose fruit may take years to show, but whose root stays firm.
Let's not overcomplicate this: parenting isn't measured by one perfect day. It's measured by the steady direction you keep giving it over time.
Reflection Question
What am I sowing today into the lives of the children God has placed under my care?
Today's Action
Choose a moment today to teach a child in your life something about faith, even if it's just a brief conversation.
Prayer
Lord, give me wisdom to train well the children under my care. Let what I sow today bear fruit tomorrow.
