Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Paul isn't asking for a behavior change forced from the outside. He's asking for a transformation that starts inside, in the way you think — because from there, sooner or later, a changed life is born too.
Let's not overcomplicate this: changing from the outside in doesn't last. Changing from the inside out does.
What thought pattern do I keep repeating just because it's what I've always seen or heard, without ever questioning it?
Identify one automatic thought you have today (about yourself, about others, about God) and ask whether it actually matches what the Word says.
Lord, renew my mind. I don't want to keep thinking like the world around me; I want to think more and more like You.
