Ephesians 4:26-27
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.”
The Bible doesn't say feeling angry is sin โ it says "be ye angry," as if recognizing it's a valid emotion. The danger is in what we do with it when we let it pile up unresolved.
Let's not overcomplicate this: it's not about never getting angry. It's about not letting that anger settle in and grow in the dark.
What anger have I been carrying for days, weeks, or years without ever resolving it?
If there's anger you haven't dealt with toward someone, take a first step today: a message, a conversation, or at least an honest prayer about it.
Lord, don't ask me to pretend I don't feel angry. Help me not let it rot inside me or turn into something worse.
