Psalms 27:14
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
The psalm doesn't promise the wait will be short or comfortable. It repeats the command twice — "wait on the LORD... wait, I say, on the LORD" — as if it knew we'd need to hear it more than once to hold on to it.
Let's not overcomplicate this: waiting on God isn't standing still doing nothing. It's continuing to move forward with your heart set on Someone who already knows how the story ends.
What am I trying to solve on my own because waiting on God feels too hard?
Name something you've been waiting on for a while and hand it over to God today instead of forcing a solution.
Lord, give me strength to wait without despairing. Let my heart take courage by trusting Your timing, not mine.
