James 2:17
“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
James isn't saying works save you; he's saying real faith always moves toward something. Faith that never produces any action is, in practice, indistinguishable from having no faith at all.
Let's not overcomplicate this: it's not about earning points with good deeds. It's about what you truly believe eventually showing up in what you do.

Is my faith staying only in what I believe, or is it moving toward what I do?

Pick one conviction you say you hold and take one concrete action today, however small, that reflects it.
Prayer
Lord, don't let my faith stay only in words or feelings. Help it show up in what I do today.
