Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
This verse doesn't promise that everything that happens is good in itself. It promises that God can take even what is bad and weave it toward a greater good, for those who are in Him.
Let's not overcomplicate this: the pain doesn't need to make sense today for you to trust that God is already working with it.
Can I trust today that God is working in this hard situation, even though I don't yet see the good that will come from it?
Write down a current hard situation and, next to it, the phrase: 'God is working here, even though I can't see it yet.'
Lord, I don't understand everything I'm going through, but I choose to trust that none of it is lost in Your hands.
