Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

This verse was written for a people in exile, with no certainty of when their situation would end. The promise doesn't eliminate the waiting, but it gives it direction: God isn't improvising with anyone's life.

Let's not overcomplicate this: you don't need to see the whole map to trust the One drawing it. You only need to take today's step.

Reflection Question

What part of my future am I trying to control out of fear that God doesn't have a good plan for it?

Today's Action

Name one specific worry about the future and hand it over in prayer today, without demanding you have the full answer.

Prayer

Lord, I don't know tomorrow, but I trust that You do. Help me let go of a control I never really had.
