Philippians 4:6-7
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Paul wrote these words while in prison. He wasn't speaking from a trouble-free life, but from a hard situation in which he had learned to depend on God.
Let's not overcomplicate this: Paul isn't saying you'll never feel anxious. He's teaching what to do when it shows up: bring the worry to God through prayer, petition, and gratitude.
What worry do I keep replaying in my mind that I still haven't honestly brought before God?
Write down that worry, and underneath it, three things you can be thankful for today.
Lord, today I hand over what I cannot control. Help me trust You and recognize Your care even while I wait.
